Apps and appchains are the next meta. If we want to see them take off beyond just a narrative boom, they need the following: 1. know when and how their transactions will be processed (deterministic execution) 2. have protection from front-running or sandwich attacks (MEV mitigation) Decoupled block-building is worth exploring here because it provides differentiated feature sets to builders. Raiku provides instant pre-confirmation (typically within ~40ms) that a transaction has been accepted and scheduled for landing in a future slot. This is similar to how a swap gets ‘confirmed’ in a frontend before it actually lands on-chain. What we’re doing is reserving a specific slot in the future — say, 1 to 60 seconds out — and we commit to landing the transaction there. From the user’s perspective, it’s as if the transaction is locked in, and they move on. This model is already familiar in other ecosystems: Ethereum builders provide ‘intent confirmations’ via Flashblocks or block builder APIs. We're bringing a similar user experience to Solana, but with deterministic guarantees at the slot level. As a builder, your users aren't sitting there waiting. They’d get fast feedback that the transaction is scheduled. That’s a powerful UX primitive — especially for routers, market makers, and app developers.
